Reply:the fig is a crop of great importance ,in Africa they ripen during the dry season making them a crucial food source to all herbivores and omnivores
Reply:I saw a show recently on animal planet about rain forrests.. Looks like about all the animals there ate from the figs.. Well most anyways.. Monkeys, all sorts of tree animals, squirrels, bats, rats, sloths, mice, birds, and just about everything in between.. (including man) I personally love figs, dried or fresh
Reply:monkeys, I think they live in India or somewhere close. They were in BBC's documentary called ''Planet Earth''
Reply:Monkeys, all sorts of tree animals, squirrels, bats, rats, sloths, mice, birds (most animals that live in rainforests.
Reply:Figs are one of the most (actually probably the most) important fruit crops in the Tropical rainforest. So yes virtually all fruit eaters living in the tropics eat figs. Everything from tuocans and parrots to monkeys, phalanger, sugar gliders, flying lemurs, deer cassowary, etc. If They are all listed it would be thousands of species long. Figs are found throughout the tropics humid areas on every continent.
