Yes, it should grow!
Plant your little guy in a spot which gets plenty of sun, but be sure it is protected from too much winter cold (against a wall might be a good idea). Figs can stand temperatures as low as 25F, so you may wish to protect it from extreme cold while it is young. Some people grow them in tubs and take them inside in the winter, but you should not need to do that.
This little guy needs lots of sun and well-drained, rich soil. Be sure it gets enough water.
Figs are delightfully trouble free - a little plant food in springtime, a little pruning, and you should have a happy tree!
