What is a sycamore fig tree?

Reply:A truly beautiful tree - native to the US. It grows to a very large height, and can get up to 120" around. It's bark is very noticeable, with large dapples of white and various shades of brown/gray. While being distinct, many homeowners aren't crazy about growing them as they are a "dirty" tree - they shed a lot of small little twigs and bark chunklets and leaves all season long.
