How do they get the fig into a fig roll????

I've always assumed its like a sausage filler.

I have 2 packets here. They look injection moulded to me.

In the old days the ends were crimped, but now they just cleanly chop them.

How do they get the fig into a fig roll????

if your asking about fig rolls its put on a pastry then covered in pastry, but I think you may have gotten confused with doenuts where jam is syringed in to doenuts
