How do you get the figs in fig rolls?
Fig bar's are made by making a FIRM cookie type dough and rolling it out to form a rectangle shape. Place prepared fig's on the dough and fold each side to cover your fig's and then roll the whole loaf over to put the seams on the bottom. Cook, cool and cut into bar's. I've made them before and it was't real casy, but was worth the trouble. Good luck, hope I helped you.

Reply:Start with flat dough. Lay on figs. Roll up dough.
