My dog tries to eat the leaves of my fig / ficus tree is that good for him. I thought I heard it was very bad.

I catch him trying to eat the leaves and heard they are posionous. What attracts him to this?

It's probably not a good idea for them to eat houseplants, even if they're not toxic. You might try spraying your plant with Bitter Apple. I don't think it would hurt the plant., but dogs don't like the taste. You can get it at a pet supply store.
