What color shoes should I wear with a purple (fig) dress?

It's a cocktail dress, sorta silky/satiny material.

What color shoes should I wear with a purple (fig) dress?
I would try to find shoes the same purple (fig) colour. Or else go with black. Black shoes go with everything, so they're safe.

Reply:Depends on what accessory's you are wearing with it. Maybe if you wore ivory jewelry you could wear ivory shoes. Don't listen to me I am terrible at that stuff!

The metallic will reflect some of the purple from your dress and look very cool. If you can't find any, go for one of those brown sandals with beads on them. Then you can add some purple beads to them to make em match.
