Does anyone have any awsome baked fig recipes?
Hopefully you are using fresh figs - this is a good one and quick as well:

8 to 10 fresh figs, washed and tops cut off about 1/3 of the way down from the top

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

4 tbsp mascarpone cheese

3 thin slices of prosciutto or 3 slices bacon cooked to soft

a few sprigs fresh thyme

2 tbsp olive oil

Cut tops off of the figs and save them - they will make a great presentation at the end. Mix oil and vinegar in a bowl and toss whole figs (without tops) in mixture and bake in a 375 degree oven for about 10 to 12 minutes until soft and a bit caramelized. Place tops in the same pan for the last 2 minutes to roast them to proper color as whole parts of figs. Cool to room temperature.

Combine mascarpone cheese (at room teperature), prosciutto or bacon and fresh thyme in a separate bowl.

As figs have cooled you will notice how they have softened - make a small indentation in the tops of them and put about a teaspoon of the cheese - bacon/ham mix in the fig. Place cut off top back on fig and refrigerate for about 20 minutes, or leave room temp.

For a more dramatic presentation reduce 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar to a honey like consistency over medium heat (watching constantly) and drizzle over figs before serving.

This is a great appetizzer or dessert.

And good luck with the baby!!!!!
