What type of fruit is persimmon? And fig?

Citrus? Or pumpkin? Where does pumpkin belong (I know that it's a vegetable although I'm asking about fruits)?

What type of fruit is persimmon? And fig?
Persimmon is a plum-like fruit, and is shaped LIKE a pumpkin. And to answer the second one, ever here of FIG newtons? Fig is commonly thought of as a fruit, but is properly the FLOWER of the fig tree. It is in fact a "false fruit," or multiple fruit, in which the flowers and seeds grow together to form a single mass. Hope that helps!! :)
Reply:Pumpkins are a squash. I'm not sure what categories persimmons and figs fall into though.
Reply:Figs grow on trees and have a sweet, creamy taste.
