Blueberry bushes and fig trees?
You should be able to purchase a Fig and Blueberry variety suitable to your area. As far as having a problem where winter is concerned your fig should be dormant during this time anyway, the same in relation to your Blueberry if you purchase a deciduous variety.

You don't have to have two of them to pollinate each other as the bees should do the job for you, but for heavier cropping of your blueberry grow 2 cultivars together(different varieties.
Reply:You should have 2 blueberry bushes to cross pollinate each other.
Reply:A fig needs warm climate and large space to grow.

*The tree can tolerate 10° to 20° of frost in favorable sites. It should have a dry climate with light early spring rains if it is intended for the production of fresh fruit.

I love figs - grew up eating figs from a tree at my grandmother's house.

I planted a fig tree 2 years ago and it made it through drought - we did not have hard freeze the first year - but this winter was colder longer - I'm not sure my fig will make it.

Berries are easy plants to grow, but they take regular planning, maintenance, care and require plenty of patience - and it will be several years before your blueberry bush is up to full production.

Blueberry doesn't require a large space to grow like the fig.
