Who will pluck the figs till the fig plucker comes?

In Italy, the local natives keep the wild figs picked daily... Nothing like a free-range fig.

In northern US, it's the ants and the bees that get the figs first if the plucker is tardy.

Who will pluck the figs till the fig plucker comes?
Maybe the mother pheasant plucker can handle this task!
