Fig tree? its not getting purple?

Hi everyone, I live in Arizona and have a figtree, It has been planted since last summer/fall and right now there are about 15 hard green little figs on it, thay have been there for over amonth now, not growing bigger or getting purple, what do I do? am I supposed to wait until they turn purple? is this normal? was i supposed to pollinate them? please help, If you do not know Arizona climate (i dont know if the climate makes a differnce) It is cold at night but 70-80 during the day

Fig tree? its not getting purple?
If you have fruit on your figs, they were pollinated. Figs turn a golden brown color, not purple. Touch them....hard = green, don't eat. Soft = ripe, eat and enjoy!
Reply:i DON'T KNOW about Arizona climate, but obviously if there are little figs on your tree, the blossoms were pollinated. If they were not, there would not be fruit. Call your County Extension Office. It might be listed as Agriculture Dept. They are your best source of plant knowledge in your area. A second thought, did you fertilize these trees. ?
