How do they get the figs into the fig rolls?

How do they get the figs into the fig rolls?

Reply:The same what they get the cream or jam in Swiss rolls - the pastry stuff is rolled flat, the fig mixture is put in then it is rolled up and cut to size.
Reply:they place the empty biscuit shell around the growing fig, and wait 3-4 weeks for nature to take its course.

Reply:the pastry is rolled flat out then the figs are placed on top and then roll the pastry over the figs.
