IF you can truly Comprehend, then what part of the Fig Tree do you?

Not understand?

We have been in perilous times since sin entered the world, what makes it different as far as Jesus returning is what he said to his apostles, when they asked when are you returning?

Israel was not a country until 1948..Jesus came when Israel was governed by the Roman Empire..If he said look for the Fig Tree-Israel what does it matter that before 1948 people thought the end was coming.

If events from 1948 to 2008 are happening-In the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power" (2 Tim 3:1-5).

What don't you understand about the Final Generation?

IF you can truly Comprehend, then what part of the Fig Tree do you?
I agree with you 100%.

Many are blinded and refuse to see or hear the TRUTH. Jesus has warned us of these things. Wonderful post!!!
Reply:the part that's in the Ebla tablets
Reply:........ out of all the posts you've ever made, this is the one that makes me think you've lost your bloody mind.

There is no "final generation".
Reply:the branches.

that is the part of the fig tree that always puzzles me.
Reply:You have a valid point. Before Israel was created, no men were "lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power"

Those things are all unique to the last 60 years.
Reply:You are talking about Jesus and the Jews. They do not go together, the Jew don't believe that Jesus is the son of God.
Reply:I thought the message was "Look how God irrationally punished a tree for doing what he made it to do; just wait until he gets his mitts on you."
Reply:I eat figs for breakfast, how can a fig tree kill me?

Reply:I understand clearly. It is you who fails to see that a story in a book does not translate into fact no matter who says it.
Reply:There are dozens of different apocalypses and predictions about the end of the world. Nearly every religion has one or more. A good number of them conflict, although a few have certain things in common because they influenced each other historically.

I have no reason to believe that your narrow interpretation of that particular verse is any more believable than any of the other varied accounts of the end of the world in the many other religions of the world.
Reply:You're not deep if what you're saying isn't true. Tell this to all your Christian friends
Reply:A fig tree lives a long time, in regards to the end time parable, as the tree withers and dies is associated with the great apostasy and faith disapearing from the earth.

Will HE find faith among the peoples of the earth when HE returns.

My opinion is that His 1000 year reign will be needed because it will take him that long to get through to the unbelievers who remain.

I pray you many blessings for trying!
