Help!! I just bought a climbing fig for my balcony and the leaves are gowing yellow, I have no clue?

well you have 3 problems.

1. figs don't like getting moved too much

2. draughts of cold and too much heat can kill it turning leaves yellow

3. you may have over watered or undrwatered the tree

hi,

i agree with deb. it's getting too much water. the weather may be aiding this. you can cover the soil top with sponge and wring out during the day for some help with rain. make sure you have adequate drain holes in your pot, also.
Reply:Usually when leaves turn yellow on ANY plant they are getting TOO MUCH water. Don't water as often and see if it doesn't improve. A plant can go dry for a day or 2 w/out harming it. There are also available at plant stores a meter that inserts into the soil like a digital thermometer to tell you how dry it is and if it needs water. Inexpensive. Couple bucks.
